Supporting Local Firefighters: Paul Davis of Front Range and Paul Davis of Boulder sponsored the Big Chili Cook-off in Evergreen, Colorado. Many sponsors, officials and delighted residents tested and voted at the local event, which raised a generous $47,2500 for six mountain firefighter companies that protect an expansive area west of Denver. Local mountain firefighters work in terrain above 7,500 feet.
Delivering Hot Meals to Flood Victims: Paul Davis of Central Austin, Texas, went the extra mile after its teams deployed to Beaumont to assist victims of flooding from tropical storm Imelda. Crews pitched in with nonprofit organizations including the Texas Firewalkers and the Giving Bak Foundation to distribute hundreds of hot meals door to door.
