Paul Davis Community Support Makes a Local Difference

Before the COVID-19 virus limitations began, we were hard at work volunteering our people, expertise and funding for worthy causes large and small. We look forward to new charitable efforts as soon as possible for causes like these that we proudly supported:

Raising Funds for the Hungry, Homeless and Hurting: Paul Davis Windsor-Essex and Paul Davis Chatham-Kent participated in the Coldest Night of the Year 2020 event, a family-friendly national walkathon that raises funds for charities serving the hungry, homeless and hurting in 136 communities across Canada. The Paul Davis team of six from these two Canadian offices raised C$3,285. This year, more than 20,000 participants across the country raised 107 percent of the organization’s C$6 million goal.

Brightening Outlooks for Mentally Challenged Boys:  Paul Davis of North Florida joined the local non-profit Generation Works to paint several rooms at the St. Augustine Youth Services, a home that welcomes mentally challenged boys who have been victims of abuse. The office also anticipates assisting in the construction of a new house for young men aged 18-24 who are learning a trade and working toward supporting themselves. Team members are active year-round in Generation Works, a Jacksonville, Florida, charity focusing on educating, inspiring and connecting women and girls to build community.

Creating Blessing Bags for the Homeless: Paul Davis of Central Ohio gathered together to help the homeless in central Ohio, making Blessing Bags stocked with toothbrushes, toothpaste, socks, gloves and food. Happy to bring a smile and much needed supplies to those without shelter, the marketing team keeps the bags in their cars to distribute to homeless people they encounter as they travel from place to place.

We continue to plan our Social Purpose Initiative, as you can see on our social purpose calendar. Check back soon for the resumption of our efforts at the local and grassroots events that Paul Davis, its franchisees, and our sister companies support. In the meantime, we continue to protect our local communities by following all applicable recommendations for social distancing and donning personal protective equipment.
