During the month of March, Paul Davis continues to lend people, funding, equipment, care and time to worthy causes all over North America. It’s a privilege for our employees to give freely of themselves to support the communities in which they live and work.
Here is a sampling of the events where our people pitched in recently:
Paul Davis GTA West in Ontario, Canada, Supports Blood Drives. This office selected the Canadian Blood Services as their charity for 2021. They have enrolled in the Partners For Life program, set a goal of 50 donations for the year and asked the community to join them. Canadian Blood Services provides life saving products and services in transfusion and transplantation as well as safeguarding the country’s support systems for blood, plasma, stem cells, organs and tissues.
Paul Davis of Greater Charleston, SC, Helps People with Addiction: This office joined the local firefighter community to support Healing Hands, a local nonprofit organization that helps people suffering from drug or alcohol addiction. The group helped renovate the home where the nonprofit offers its services. This office also hosted a gingerbread contest with local fire departments during the holidays. Firefighters gave the competition high marks for bringing fun and camaraderie to the season.
Paul Davis of Central Nebraska Implements 12 Days of Giving: Also during the holiday season, team members at this office practiced, “12 Days of Giving.” They recognized local organizations during this time period and gave gifts away to local charities like Hope Harbor, Inc ., which helps homeless people in the state.
Paul Davis of North Chicago acted as a COVID expert for local schools: Team members at this office trained the janitorial staff at the local school district. As schools allowed students back into classrooms, their team eased the uncertainties of returning to in-person learning. They answered questions, shared guidelines, discussed best practices, and taught procedures for cleaning, sanitizing, and applying disinfectant.
Paul Davis of Greater Birmingham Raises Funds for the Disabled. This office delivered Christmas presents to a disabled young lady in the community. In 2020, they helped raise funds for special equipment to help her walk again.
