Paul Davis Works Overtime on Social Responsibility

With locations across North America, Paul Davis is honoured to help local communities not only by responding to disasters but also with charitable efforts: people, expertise, time and funds. Here are just a few of the many causes Paul Davis employees supported recently:

Providing Community Fire Education: Paul Davis local offices in Portland and Vancouver, Washington, participated with the local fire department and Cosco Fire Protection to present “Fire in the Park,” an event that educates neighbours on fire safety and preparedness. Launched in 2009, the event also allows local fire departments to care for people in need whom they encounter on the job. Over the years, it has become the largest Childhood Injury Prevention Event in Clark county.

Funding Student Scholarships for Insurance Studies: Paul Davis volunteers from the North Country, New York, took to the links for a good cause at an event hosted by the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America. Paul Davis volunteers offered refreshments - bourbon and cigars - to around 100 local insurance agents, adjusters and brokers. Proceeds support the Project InVest Robert Maher Memorial Scholarship Fund for students pursuing insurance studies.

Supporting Children’s Health Care: Volunteers from Paul Davis of Southeast and Fox Valley, Wisconsin, also hit the greens for charity recently, hosting the Paul Davis Charitable Fund Gold Outing at Ironwood Golf Course golf. Held yearly to support Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, this year’s event on a gorgeous day in June drew 230 adjusters, property managers, agents and vendors to cheer on the 216 players.

Providing K9 Support for Police: Paul Davis of Terre Haute, Indiana, donated funding for a canine, or “K9,” team member to the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office when of its K9 partners retired following meritorious service. Kaiser will become the unit’s fifth K9 officer, specializing in narcotics detection.
