What is Paul Davis Restoration?

Paul Davis is a one-stop-shop for disaster damage and restoration and has 325 independently owned franchises in the United States and Canada. The professionals at Paul Davis are certified in emergency restoration, reconstruction, and remodelling. Q: What are your job title and primary duties attached?
As Controller, I am responsible for all accounting functions including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Commissions, Collections, Reconciliations, Reports, and Financial Statements. Additionally, I am responsible for all HR duties including keeping track of paid time off, vacation, 401K contributions, recruiting, onboarding and I have an open-door policy for all employees. I am also responsible for all office management functions such as office supply inventory, computer setup, coordinate quarterly meetings, maintain copier, and print ID Badges just to name a few.
Q: What’s the best thing that ever happened to you while performing your duties?
Receiving constant compliments from my boss, the franchise owner. This is much more important than people think. Job appreciation is a definite motivator and I look forward to work every day.
Q: Do you enjoy any hobbies?
Gardening; movies with family; Disney excursions with family.
Q: Do you do any community work?
I feed the outdoor cats in my neighbourhood.
