Across North America, communities trust Paul Davis to be there anytime night or day, to help in times of great distress, to recover from disasters of all kinds, to pitch in anywhere neighbors need a hand. Here are just a few of the many charitable causes that Paul Davis supported recently with people, expertise, time and funds:
Spreading Kindness in Cancer Victim’s Honor: Paul Davis Moncton pitched in to construct the Rebecca Schofield All World Super Play Park. Built entirely through volunteerism, the park honors a teen from New Brunswick, Canada, who died of brain cancer. During her brave fight, she launched a global campaign called #BeccaToldMeTo that inspired people to be kinder to one another.
Supporting Heart Research: Paul Davis of Western Pennsylvania joined locals at the 2019 Pittsburgh Congenital Heart Walk, raising over $87,000 for research on congenital heart defects. This series of nationwide events is the only one of its kind focusing on these types of heart disorders.
Helping Animal Shelters: Paul Davis of South Atlanta and Paul Davis of Central Georgia collected supplies including blankets and food to benefit Companion Animal Rescue, Inc. (CARI), a Georgia organization that helps save animals in danger of euthanasia. CARI provides temporary care for abandoned, relinquished, lost or unclaimed domestic animals until they find a permanent home.
Biking for Charity: Paul Davis of the Northland sponsored the Kraus-Anderson Community Foundation’s KA Bike Duluth Festival. Donations benefit community cycling organizations and Duluth’s nationally recognized mountain biking trail system, soon to include a 100-mile segment called the Duluth Traverse.
Raising Money for Cancer Research: Paul Davis Niagara was a platinum sponsor for the TELUS Ride for Dad – Niagara Chapter. This event, which welcomed 221 motorcycle riders, raised more than $60,000 to battle prostate cancer and raise awareness of the disease.
