Finding New Ways to Support Local Charities

As North America forges ahead through the ongoing pandemic, Paul Davis continues to pitch in for charities and worthy causes across the continent. We remain very committed to bettering the world we work and live in and we have adapted outreach to safeguard all participants as we do so. For many, needs have increased in severity and number. We are redoubling our efforts to send people, funding, equipment and time where they are most useful.

Here’s a sample of causes that Paul Davis supported recently:

Donating Sanitizer: Paul Davis Central Nova Scotia donated 30 liters of liquid sanitizer to a local home care service. The provisions should last about a year and will help resolve a shortage.

Hosting the Red Cross: Once again, Paul Davis of Greater Birmingham hosted a blood drive for the Red Cross. The nonprofit has an urgent need for blood donors this summer because the COVID-19 pandemic has caused unprecedented supply challenges. This Paul Davis location has a longstanding partnership with the Red Cross to support blood drives.

Providing Recreation for Those Living with Challenges: Paul Davis of Southeast WI and Fox Valley is hosting small events called “Pop Up Lot Parties” to benefit local charities and support local businesses including area restaurants. Their most recent guest included groups from the Blue Lotus Farm & Retreat Center, a non-profit nature center focusing on individuals of all ages living with profound challenges.

Supporting the Leukemia Lymphoma Society: Paul Davis of Central PA will provide support for the Light the Night Walk organized by the society. With 140 walks taking place across North America involving nearly a million participants, the Society aims to bring light to the darkness of cancer by funding research and cures.

See what’s happening charitably as summer comes to a close by viewing our social purpose calendar. Join us if you’re local! Throughout every action we undertake, we safeguard our partners, neighbors, employees and communities by carefully following all recommendations for social distancing and personal protective equipment.
