Paul Davis Boosts Local Community Charitable Efforts

Paul Davis contributes to communities in many different ways, not only helping neighbours recover from disasters large and small but also pitching in to support charity with people, time and funding. These are just a few of the many causes that we were privileged to assist as they pursue worthy missions:

Building Homes with Habitat for Humanity: Paul Davis of Broward County and North Miami donated staff time and construction expertise to Habitat for Humanity of Broward. It was a full day of hammering, painting, carrying and constructing for needy Florida residents at the Rick Case Habitat Community – Pompano Beach. The planned development, comprising 42 one-story homes and 35 two-story homes, is the largest that Habitat for Humanity of Broward has ever tackled in the area as it addresses the local affordable housing crisis.

Supporting Insurance Partners: Paul Davis Saskatoon pitched in at the Banjo Bowl Customer Appreciation Day hosted by Lakeview Insurance Brokers – Martensville. The office set up bouncy castles and face painting for kids, awarded door prizes and supported the local Martensville Royals Football team. Paul Davis team members grilled and handed out free hot dogs to customers stopping by.

Recognizing Talented Firefighters: Paul Davis sponsored and participated in the 3M Scott Firefighter World Challenge in Montgomery, Alabama. The event convenes firefighters from around the globe to compete in a series of five arduous tasks including climbing a five-story tower with a 22.5-kilogram hose, hoisting a 19-kilogram donut, and dragging an 80-kilogram Rescue Randy manikin. They compete against the clock and each other while wearing full firefighter gear and oxygen tank with a mask. Over 14 countries were represented in an intense event that was live-streamed on ESPN3 and online. In addition to a strong presence throughout the event, Paul Davis staffed an exhibit space with banners, a tent, collateral, and giveaways.

Fighting Kidney Disease: Paul Davis of the Delmarva Peninsula fielded a team of volunteers – who dubbed themselves the Willing Walkers - to make tracks at the National Kidney Foundation Kidney Walk, an inspiring community fundraiser that highlights kidney disease prevention and the need for donated organs. Paul Davis employees also painted the faces of youthful attendees, sponsored a kidney bean guessing game and handed out bags with literature and stress balls.
