This Paul Davis team combined their Chilli Cooking and Silent Auction Skills to bring in a fresh $1,000 to benefit the Mount Joy Fire Department in Central Pennsylvania. Mount Joy Station 75 is a combination of the former 133 year old Friendship Fire Company (organized in 1868) and the Florin Fire Company (organized in 1947). The two all volunteer fire companies merged in 2001 and today serve more that 10,970 residents in a 28 square mile area. In recent years their firefighters have responded to as many as 600 fire incidents in a single year.

Paul Davis of Central Virginia Provides Executive Talent to American Red Cross …

President of Client Services Stephanie Dean has joined the Red Cross Board of Directors Central Virginia Chapter. A warm welcome was extended by one of the grateful Red Cross volunteers who noted, “ Paul Davis Restoration has been a steady, quick responder to disasters in the Central Division of the state of Virginia. They work well with their customers and are fast, efficient, and so helpful.” Now that Dean has joined the Red Cross Board, the two organizations will work ever more closely to bring support for the community.

Scholarships for future firefighters to attend the Utah Valley University Fire Academy have proven to be a very worthy local effort organized each year by the Lionheart Gift Foundation. This year, the Paul Davis Utah office co-sponsored all the golf carts at their Russ Groves Memorial Golf Tournament to raise scholarship funds for future firefighters. Paul Davis Emergency Recovery Coordinator Brent Roberts is part of their Board of Directors and is also on the organizing committee for the golf tournament. Proceeds go each year to provide five new scholarships for the incoming class.

This year’s Cincinnati Blue Goose Annual Golf Outing raised $12,000. Paul Davis Client Services Manager Hali Abner participated and sponsored two 4-somes and a golf hole. Hali was selected to choose one of the charities to receive donations and selected a local fire service group.

Paul Davis of Greater Birmingham, Alabama Helps Raise $50,000 to Fight Addiction …

Locally owned Birmingham companies Paul Davis Restoration, Brown Auto Repair and Fergus Artisan Ales joined forces this year in the sad, but continuing task of fighting drug addiction. Their downtown Trussville, Alabama musicfest called Rockin’ for Restoration is free to all but welcomes a $10 donation. This year the event raised more than $50K of funds which were donated to the Will Bright Foundation! It was their first-ever Difference Maker community award to Bill and Lisa Bright, founders of the nonprofit Will Bright Foundation, who lost their son to addiction and have since worked tirelessly helping others defeat addiction. The event attracted over 2,500 people and successfully drew attention to this need in the community. Most expenses of the evening were covered by sponsorships. Congratulations to all who participated in this so necessary and so successful event!

A recent Dallas Claims Association Golf Charity Classic Tournament successfully raised funds for DCA Scholarship and other DCA Charity efforts. This Paul Davis office saddled up with a cowboy themed booth that entertained attendees with lots of fun and games, plus scrumptious bowls of Cowboy caviar.
