Paul Davis Supports Worthy Causes Throughout North America

As Paul Davis helps people and communities recover from disasters large and small, we also take time to support worthy causes across North America by volunteering our people, expertise and funding. Here are a few of the charitable endeavors we’ve joined recently:

Holiday Cheer for the Less Fortunate: Paul Davis, Frasier Valley, British Columbia, raised the Christmas spirits of needy neighbours by raising funds for two local charitable organizations: the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau and the Langley Food Bank. Created in 1930, the Christmas Bureau distributes up to 100,000 toys and gifts throughout metro Vancouver. The Langley Food Bank helps nourish 600 families a week in Langley, British Columbia.

Golfing for the Red Cross: Team members from Paul Davis of Greater St. Paul and Minneapolis hit the links to benefit the local chapter of the Red Cross. The outing raised $10,000 to support the national Sound the Alarm campaign, which distributes smoke alarms to those unable to afford these lifesaving devices. The event also highlighted the Paul Davis fundraising effort called the Restore America Fund, which sponsors home repair and restoration for the needy.

Climbing Stairs to Honour the Fallen: Paul Davis of the Sandhills, located in North Carolina, sent a team to climb 110 flights of stairs at the Fayetteville 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. Each participant paid tribute to a specific firefighter, emergency medical technician or police officer who perished during the World Trade Center attacks. Employees found the event so fulfilling that they plan to expand office participation at the next climb.

Collecting Toys for Hospitalized Children: Paul Davis of Southeast and Fox Valley in Wisconsin leveraged its 2019 Paul Davis Pig Roast, Toy Drive and Client Luncheon as a platform to support children in need. Thanks to the generosity of the many people enjoying the event, the team gathered and distributed more than 500 toys to delighted youngsters at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.

Expanding our Social Purpose Initiative: After launching this Initiative last year, we’re excited to expand its reach in 2020 by volunteering our time and inspiring others to support more worthy causes in 2020. Our social purpose calendar shows local and grassroots events that Paul Davis, its franchisees, and our sister companies support; the calendar is continually updated with new events.
