As an eventful 2018 draws to a close, all of us at Paul Davis send you, our valued customers, the very warmest season’s greetings. Thank you for trusting us to help you recover from disasters of all kinds this year. We worked alongside neighbours and businesses grappling with tragic events that made headlines, like catastrophic tornadoes in Ontario-Quebec and devastating wildfires in British Columbia. We helped neighbours and businesses get back on their feet after smaller disasters like kitchen fires and basement floods, too.
No matter the details or size or renown of each event, we are grateful that you invited our company to bring technical skills and trained professionals to your aid. In every instance, we also strived to deliver less tangible elements that are essential to recovery: certainty, comfort and constant communication. It’s all part of providing extraordinary care during the most difficult times in people’s lives.
As we do every year, we also gave back to communities that host our franchises across Canada. We continued relationships with charitable partners such as the Red Cross, with regional organizations like Ben’s Place, and multinational efforts like Global Community Engaged Learning. Our franchisees also volunteered as teams and individually to better their neighbourhoods in meaningful ways, from rebuilding a widow’s house free of charge to being Big Brothers and Sisters to less fortunate children. We look forward to participating with these and many more worthy initiatives over the next 12 months and beyond.
As we begin 2019 together, we wish you a wonderful, safe, happy New Year. We sincerely hope it brings only wonderful events, happiness, and peace to you and yours. Yes, unexpected and unfortunate events may occur, because life is full of change and surprise.
