When he joined in 2023, Mitigation Manager, Patrick Smith, was a newbie with Paul Davis of Greensboro, North Carolina. But he was warmly welcomed as a skilled industry veteran from day one. Arriving with 27 years of experience and 13 certifications, Patrick is in the trade that he truly loves. ”The variety of work that we do here at Paul Davis, the customers whose problems we solve and the results that we deliver for them makes a positive impact on their lives during a particularly hard time. A time that often has put them at wits end. What I enjoy most are the days I can spend at a customer’s home helping put their mind at ease and making them comfortable as we restore their ‘palace’ to good as new.”
No Stranger to Hard Times
Having raised six children; the oldest now 37. And having personally beat back cancer twice in his lifetime, Patrick knows well the kinds of issues customers face and he knows how ro reach people when and where it counts. “I was also a residential damage victim myself some years ago when my home suffered significant fire damage,” says Patrick. “I hired another company to handle the mitigation and it wasn’t handled properly. When we are hired to handle fire or water problems I am especially tuned in to the issues our customers face. I don't ever want them to experience less than the very best mitigation, clean-up and restoration work.”
